Now, the torch is being carried by a modern Texas Blues powerhouse: Wes Jeans. Wes has been on a roll, releasing a string of powerhouse singles. In January 2024, he dropped the hard-rocking Save Me, written and mixed by fellow guitar virtuoso Tyler Bryant. That was followed by No Tears Left To Cry in June, featuring Tommy Katona. November 2024 saw the release of his blues EP One Day At A Time, celebrated with a series of Texas shows alongside blues heavyweight Mike Zito, earning rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

In addition to his own work, Jeans has stepped into the producer’s chair, lending his expertise to albums by Texas Flood, Kim Donette, and Michael King & The Icebreakers in 2024.

With 2025 on the horizon, Jeans shows no signs of slowing down. He’s gearing up to release another EP and a full-length album under Against The Grain Records. With nearly three decades of experience, a blazing guitar tone, and an undeniable passion for the Blues, Wes Jeans is proving, time and time again, that Texas Blues is alive and thriving.
